JCDecaux UK expands digital screen network at London Heathrow

11th June 2024

As Heathrow marks its record-breaking start to 2024 with 18.5 million passengers in Q11 , JCDecaux UK is introducing new digital advertising opportunities for brands to engage the premium and luxury audience at Europe’s busiest airport. The latest additions to the portfolio include: a powerful new ‘Fast Track’ network across all terminals, four new ‘Couture Totems’ in Terminal 2 and the expansion of the ‘Business Lounge’ network.

Powered by data and blending the impact of iconic media space alongside the new digital capabilities of Out-of-Home including programmatic, the state-of-the-art advertising at Heathrow provides brands with a powerful platform for brand communication.

The new digital investment comprises:

New ‘Fast Track’ network
The ‘Fast Track’ network enables brands to engage an elite audience from check-in, through their dedicated security channels and to departures with screens across all terminals. Comprising full motion, 75’’ and 85’’ ‘iVision’ (digital 6-sheet) screens, this ultra-premium network reaches the millions using the Fast Track Service each year, provided to selected first class, business and frequent flyer passengers.

New Couture Totems
Brands advertising in Terminal 2, (the Queen’s Terminal) will benefit from the increased screen display size of the two single-sided Couture Totems which at 75” (previously 70’’), provide exceptional impact and visibility in the luxury retail zone.  Two new double-sided Couture Totems have been introduced near World Duty Free – enabling brands to drive footfall and prompt purchase in store. The four Couture Totems are available as part of the ‘T2 Couture Totems’ package.

New Business Lounge iVisions - Terminal 3 and Terminal 5
Taking the total network of Business Lounge iVisions (digital 6-sheets) to 18, two new screens target business travellers as they make their way to the Terminal 3 Arrivals Virgin lounge and the Terminal 5B British Airways lounge, reaching this captive, influential audience when they are in a receptive mindset and have time to engage with messaging.

Building on last year’s success as the busiest airport in Europe, Heathrow is forecasting a record breaking 82 million passengers to pass through the airport in 2024. There is no better time to showcase your brand at Heathrow, whether this is near World Duty Free to drive footfall or at Fast Track, being associated with a seamless and efficient service. I am thrilled to see JCDecaux continue to recognise that as the most connected airport in the world, Heathrow provides a truly global platform to brands and has chosen to expand their presence across all terminals.”Fraser Brown, Retail Director, Heathrow

“The launch of our new Fast Track network and further development of our Business Lounge and Couture Totems portfolio at Heathrow give clients even more opportunity to target key passengers at every touchpoint. Airports continue to define luxury and, at a time when travel has returned, our new digital opportunities, including programmatic digital Out-of-Home, continue to help brands reach this premium, captive audience.”David Hawkins, Commercial and Partnership Director Airport at JCDecaux UK
