JCDecaux UK, in partnership with Helpbnk and Westfield is launching an innovative competition to support the next generation of business owners. Running from September 17th to September 29th, the competition is part of JCDecaux UK’s GENgage programme, which champions young entrepreneurs by providing them with cutting-edge DOOH platforms. Two winners will be announced on October 10th 2024.

In a unique collaboration, CEO of HelpBnk and renowned social media creator Simon Squibb, famous for his viral series asking members of the public, "What’s your dream?", will bring the competition to his Social Media audience, showcasing how the private screen of social and the public screen of Out-of-Home work together to help young entrepreneurs grow their business.

This campaign aims to empower and spotlight Gen Z business owners whose businesses help others, as part of HelpBnk’s mission to inspire people to follow their dreams, while focusing on making the world a better place.

Sonia Harrach, Head of GENgage said, “This competition is a game-changer for Gen Z entrepreneurs. We’re not only offering them a chance to showcase their businesses, but we’re also integrating Social Media with the real-world visibility of Out-of-Home. It’s the perfect blend of the two-screen future.”

Simon Squibb, Co Founder & CEO of Helpbnk said, “Everyone has a dream, and young people in particular just need that kickstart to make it happen. I’m so excited to run this campaign with HelpBnk and JCDecaux to put the next generation of entrepreneurs in the spotlight.”

Mel Lalou, Head of Westfield Rise UK, said, “This exciting prize is more than just the physical space, it’s the support and experience the young business owners will receive from established leaders that will be most valuable. Gen Z are a foundation of our customer base, and as such pairing social media trends with our digital out of home is an innovative way to appeal to this audience. Westfield Rise is always looking for unique ways to bring brands our customers know and love, in a fresh way, as seen in our latest activation with the viral beauty brand Sol De Janeiro.”
